Open “Start menu” now look at the right hand side of the menu for “Printers and faxes” and click it.

Next select the printer you wish to share to another machine and right click on it, then select “Sharing” and click on it.

The printer properties window will now appear and will automatically be on the sharing tab.

By default you’re printers will not usually be shared. To share the printer, select the “Share this printer” option.

Once you have done this the options displayed on the lower area of this screen will become available and you will be able to edit them. Please next add a “share name” relevant to you’re printer in some way. Names can include location information (for example: Main Office HP2600n) or can simply be the printers model number or anything you wish the printer to be known as.

Click"OK" to complete the process.
