If you have started using our hosted desktop service, you don't have to spend 5 minutes connecting every time, follow the steps below to download an shortcut that you can put on your desktop;
For Windows Users;
- Login to https://rds.computorscloud.comusing;
- Your email address
- The password you have been provided - this is usually the same as your email account
- Once logged in you'll be present with an icon for your hosted desktop
- Clicking on the icon will download the shortcut to your downloads folder
- If you have a yellow folder icon on the task bar, along the bottom your screen
- Click the yellow folder icon
- You should have a menu on the left of the window, Downloads should be an option, click on "Downloads"
- The shortcut should be near, if not at, the top of the list of items
- Right click the shortcut
- Move the mouse to "Send To"
- Select "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"
- If you don't have the yellow folder icon, click on the Start button at the bottom left
- Type "this" and you should be given the option of "This PC", click on "This PC"
- You should have a menu on the left of the window, Downloads should be an option, click on "Downloads"
- The shortcut should be near, if not at, the top of the list of items
- Right click the shortcut
- Move the mouse to "Send To"
- Select "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"
- You can now close or minimise the open window and rename the shortcut if you'd like
