If you have started using our hosted desktop service, you don't have to spend 5 minutes connecting every time, follow the steps below to download an shortcut that you can put on your desktop;

For Windows Users;

  1. Login to https://rds.computorscloud.com using;
    1. Your email address
    2. The password you have been provided - this is usually the same as your email account
  2. Once logged in you'll be present with an icon for your hosted desktop
    1. Clicking on the icon will download the shortcut to your downloads folder
  3. If you have a yellow folder icon on the task bar, along the bottom your screen
    1. Click the yellow folder icon
    2. You should have a menu on the left of the window, Downloads should be an option, click on "Downloads"
    3. The shortcut should be near, if not at, the top of the list of items
    4. Right click the shortcut
    5. Move the mouse to "Send To"
    6. Select "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"
  4. If you don't have the yellow folder icon, click on the Start button at the bottom left
  5. Type "this" and you should be given the option of "This PC", click on "This PC"
    1. You should have a menu on the left of the window, Downloads should be an option, click on "Downloads"
    2. The shortcut should be near, if not at, the top of the list of items
    3. Right click the shortcut
    4. Move the mouse to "Send To"
    5. Select "Desktop (Create Shortcut)"
  6. You can now close or minimise the open window and rename the shortcut if you'd like
